Have too much power?  That's why our toys come with throttles....

More power helps at high fields and climb in the 5000 to 12000 foot
range. Not as good as turbo but weighs and cost less.

... plus Dave Leonard hasn't destroyed even one peripheral port (vs.
turbo)
