The entire right side of the engine is free space where one could
install a remote air filter of more than adequate size. My first
thought is to buy a hugh K & N which could be stuck on the end of a 3
inch dia aluminum pipe. End of story. Anyone have a better idea?
Also, I am planning on a separate cold air ram intake that is not
filtered. But it would be possible to pipe ram air through the
filter. The advantage is one system that one does not have to operate
with cables. Is the ram effect lost when the air has to pass through a
filter? Or could the effect be salvaged by using a larger filter?
Thanks, Jerry
