I dunno, I bought a 4x8 sheet of .063 2024 T0 from Boeing surplus several years ago to fabricate a metal cowl, but it doesn't seem any harder than the day I bought it. The cowl work hardened when I
rolled it out on an English wheel, but the stuff I didn't work is still really maleable. Seems pretty soft to me. Anyway, thanks for the reply, I'll keep looking. Part of the reason I'm building  an
airplane is for educational purposes, right?
