Subject: '87 RX-7 Turbo II for sale - last chance (addendum)

Here's more information on the RX-7. I bought it new in '86. I live in
San
Diego, so it has never seen salted roads (i.e. no undercarriage rust).
The
paint (blue) is faded and the trim pieces around the windows are
deteriorated.
There is some rust on the sunroof, but nowhere else. It had 148,000
miles.
I've taken it to the dealer for all repairs and I have all of the
receipts. It
runs good but I suspect the vacuum hoses have degraded. It might not
smog.
Registration is not current (registered as non-operable). It has new
tires
(Yokohama AVS intermediates). It has rear louvres. I have never seen
them on
any other 2nd gen RX-7 and I think they are awesome. The interior is in
great
shape. No tears in the apholstery nor splits in the plastic. Upgraded
stereo.
I believe it needs a new clutch slave cylinder because I cannot engage
it in
gear while it is running. I have four other cars, so I need to get rid
of
one. If I don't get any serious offers I'm going to donate it tomorrow.
