               As you probably know from the ACRE newsletter, shortly after coming back from Oshkosh and the subsequent US tour, I suffered a pretty bad accident (eartbound
               motorsport? nothing related to aviation!) and am coming out of almost a month in the hospital plus a few weeks of intensive physiotherapy.  I still have quite a bit of
               catching up to do with my emails.  In the process, I must admit that a number of emails got overlooked, including yours.  Please accept my sincere apologies, it is not
               Mistral?s policy to delay answering emails.

               We now have enough orders to launch a production run.  We are planning to deliver engines in May or June, individual parts or subassemblies possibly earlier.  We are
               willing to sell individual parts but we simply cannot afford to give engineering support on parts.  I authorize you to spread the news that Mistral will sell individual
               parts, such as intake collectors, backplates (with Mistral-designed water pump), Mistral modified oil pump body and pickup tube, etc, and, of course, PSRU (for which we
               do offer warranty).  But it must be understood that it will be done only as a service to the sport-aviation community, that these parts will be sold with NO commercial
               or engineering support and NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER as to their suitability to their intended use.  Mistral only guarantees that these parts will fulfil the same quality
               standards that the parts going into its engines.

                  Glad to hear that

               the company is realizing some sales from Oshkosh. Many of us receive both

               the "ACRE" and "Flyrotary" posts, although all do not. I am forwarding a

               post from one of your customers. Information is spreading in the experimental

               group of your efforts and products.

                  I have not mentioned my efforts to obtain one of your rear housings to either

               of the experimental groups and will not do so without your approval. If you

               think it would be helpful to your sales effort to this group for me to go public

               please let me know. I am sure there are other that would like to have your

               solution to mounting their engines and possibly PSRU's,etc.
