I don't know that one. The carbon seals are too long when you get them, and
they must be shortened to get about .003" but I have only ceramics from used
engines.
I have never seen or measured a new one, so I cannot help you. They have a
wonderful feel about them slicker than glass. And they work so well. Mandeville
said about 5 HP with no other changes. So if that is the case, a bunch of that
is reduced drag (even with two springs under each one) and that means better
wear on the chrome.
