thick wall ss 304 310 and 321 are manufactured in 45,90 and 180 bends for
the boiler and oil field industries.
I bought the pieces for my exhaust system at a local oil field
supply
house. as an additional benefit they are beveled on
the ends and cut
square. made manufacturing the exhaust a one day job including
driving back and forth between my shop and the hanger.
I'm pretty well on my way to having everything I need for a .125
thick exhaust headers, but others on this list might find it useful
to have some way of purchasing some of those bends. Is there any
way that you could provide information on how to get some of
those tight bends?
Brian Trubee
For tight bends I use weld 90's, they can be found at industrial
plumbing supply such as places such a Famillion northwest, they have
them in 308 and 316.

I'm also really interested in the 180's, they can be cut at any degree
desired for a better fit.
Mr. Smale, can you tell us the name number and location of the oil filed
supplier?
