this is the same as the Lysholm-Charger or the KenneBell-charger(for
Ford-applications).
I understand it was developed in Sweden, but various companies have
licences
for manufacture and/or distribution.
Looks a little like the convoluted new Eaton charger.
Just go on the net and look for any of them:

This is one application where a water-air cooler works well for space.
You sandwich it right between the intake manifold and the compressor
(sorry......charger).....
Some higher power applications for cars use this system!
As you mentioned, it seems it is the most expensive supercharger on the
market, but for cars also the best compromise, as it "pulls" from rather
low
rpm all the way up.

Yep, the company claims quote;
All Uberchargers use a 1.2l Whipple twin-screw supercharger, chosen for it's
high efficiency and power potential. The supercharger sits on a cast
aluminum manifold on the "cold" or intake side of the engine. The cold-side
mounting allows for better weight distribution, the freedom to use a wide
variety of headers and isolation from engine heat. It also allows throttled
volume to be kept to a minimum. The blower is driven by a dedicated 6-rib
belt to minimize slippage and a bypass valve is used to maintain off-boost
efficiency. All kits are designed to be used on engines with stock internals
unless boost levels are changed. Un-Quote.
I think the one that interest me is the 6 psi Non intercooled version. I
guess keeping the charge at 6 psi would not create enough heat to create a
necessity for intercooling. Many different ways to look at that though. I
wanted to ask Paul Lamar (and anyone else's) opinion on the rpm
consideration. The common rpm speed of the rotary may be sustained at
anywhere from 6000 to 8000 rpms during normal flight. What step down ratio
on the cog set up should be considered for the charger to not over work at
the higher than normal. Normal, meaning the way they have designed this for
automotive street use. I guess I'll have to try and get more specs from
them and another consideration is to keep in mind the usual leaner
conditions associated with a supercharger. From what they are mentioning
they have an ECU (Chicken Box) to cover that for the Miata engine. I wonder
if Tracy Crook is programmable for mixture? Anyone know?
I'm expecting an answer on the weight soon. I'll get back when I do.
Also, I am trying to find out if it's free flow when not turning meaning it
could be engaged with a small electric clutch when needed at altitude and
not be charging at all times. Kinda like only when you need it flip the
toggle for take off or at high altitude and cruising fast and high.
