Has anyone here done rotor clearancing for an aircraft application?
I assume this is typically done with a grinding/polishing machine, has
anyone done using another method?

Paul, are you using the stock oil pump and pressure regulator in your
PPort?

Yes on the rotor clearancing but I think it is unnecessary. We never run over
7500 RPM
I don't know yet. I left that decision up to John at Mazdatrix. Perry Mick
has been flying one of his engines for a couple of years now.
BTW engine parts are at the balancing shop as we speak. If we are lucky
we will have it running before Sun & Fun.
