 It takes a six foot breaker bar Tim or a 3/4 drive impact wrench.

Or,

drill a 3/16" hole through the flat of nut in line with the crank. Gently
drive a small chisel into the hole in the nut in line with the face of the
flywheel. The nut will fail through the hole and become loose.

Loosen the nut a few turns but leave it on the crank. If you don't have the
RB flywheel puller, drive a few door shims or two big screw drivers between the
flywheel and the case bolts. Not a big effort here, just get a good load on
it.

Heat the center of the wheel around the crank with a cutting torch.

Listen for a "clink" sound. The flywheel will be loose. Notice that it did
not hop off the crank and land on your foot? Because you left the nut on the
crank.

Keep the nut for you TDC rig. Discard all of the thrust control pieces.
Beating on the flywheel ruins them. I know you would never beat on a flywheel, but
the idiot that last worked on that engine probably did. Buy new thrust pieces
and a new nut.
