Another highly successful year. We had a total of
five airplanes this year. Most from Florida. Tracy Crook RV4 Fl, Bernie Kerr 
RV9 Fl, Bill Eslick RV6 from Texas, Chuck Dunlap from Arizona RV6 and
Finn Lassen RV3 Fl. The third yellow airplane in the first row
is Bernie Kerr's, then Tracy Crook (gray) and Chuck Dunlap (Cub Yellow)
closest. Bill Eslick airplane is in the second row with a canopy cover. 

Chuck Dunlap's engine is cooling very well at around 135 to 160 F.
He will need cowl flaps in the winter. He has one of the smallest rad 
cores and simplest cooling system around  with a dedicated cowl air intake.

Bernie Kerr had only 7 hours but he was within the FAA radius for fly off time.
George Graham (Cozy) was there but drove in as he does not like to land at Sun & Fun.
I don't blame him as it is FAA controlled dangerous pandemonium sometimes.
John Slade is flying his turbo Cozy in Palm Beach but did not have his hours 
FAA required 40 local hours flown off yet.

We disassembled a 12A rotary engine every afternoon in the work shop and 
reassembled it in the morning. Takes about five minutes to disassemble with
the right tools. That was a big hit as most people had never seen a rotary
disassembled. Somebody donated a couple of 12As that appear to have sat in
a junk yard for a number of years. The one we choose was frozen solid from rust.
We got it apart however with the help of Lynn Hannover. One rotor housing was 
scratched but the other was in perfect condition as were the end housings. The 
e-shaft was rusted beyond repair unfortunately. The rotors were in perfect shape.
The thing to do is get a couple of free engines and mix and match the
good parts.
