You got me there. Did you use the exact size screw driver blade?
Very important with a brass plug. If it were me I would leave them
alone. Might be important for racing where you are running 11,000 RPM
but for 7500 RPM aircraft use I suspect not.

 They Locktite them in, suggested method is too heat the oil jet itself,
without too much heat on the shaft, to melt the Locktite.

I used a rattle gun on a damaged 13B shaft but it can jump and dint the
shaft, even when your careful. It's a good idea to take them out to make
sure theirs no crud in there, especially if it's been stored for a while.
