Paul,
Could you draw up a schematic for a Long-EZ using a Weber side draft
carb, and a 13B?
My thoughts are to use a sump with the strake tanks cross-linked, and
feeding into a central sump, i.e., there is no right and left, just a
both and off.
Thanks,
Joe Graham
Do you have the dimensions on the Weber carb or a drawing? Also which
Weber manifold are you going to use? I think the stock Long EZ plans call out
dual armpit sumps and a right left fuel tank selector valve. Should work fine for
a carb. Put the dual low pressure pumps as close to the selector valve as you
can get them. The selector valve should be up under your knees. No point
in reinventing the wheel since it is working fine on hundreds of Long EZ's.
Any time you deviate no telling what is going to happen.
