Dave is running it as we speak at 3000 RPM with a 20 HP
load to break it in. I called Tracy and he said it won't
run smooth without a load. He was absolutely correct.
12 inch HG manifold pressure
Intake air temp 87F
BSFC .76 to 1.15. I am not surprised at this low load.
That is why cars get bad gas mileage.
Fuel pressure 34.5 psi
3.3 to 4.6 gallons per hours
oil pressure 125 psi at 175F
oil pressure 100 psi at 210 F
EGT were both the same at about 1200 F.
This is the default map with the mixture
knob about 10% on the lean side.
No problem with fuel leakage out of the slide throttle.
We added a catch tray but it caught no fuel.
We will still seal the slide throttle tomorrow
to be double safe.
The engine starts right up when it is warm. Less than
one or two turns of the crank. The fuel injectors mounted
near the trumpet mouths are doing the job they
were designed to do as the runners are running almost
ice cold. That means heavy duty fuel vaporization is taking place
in the intake runners.

Congratulations Paul, the numbers look very promising and I am glad
you have already laid to rest the notion that the injectors have to be
close to the port. A whole bunch of misconceptions about the p port
are finally about to be flushed down the toilet. Forget the 6 port and

Welcome to the p-port club(of individuals). Congratulations, everything
seems to be running right. I have the impression from my own work, and from
what you are doing there that the p-port configuration had been bedeviled in
the past for no good reason. You just build it and it runs, and not even
bad.
Will be interesting when you get to the max power level tests.
