That is an intriqueing statement Tom.
How is the turbo 3 rotor Lancair coming?
Paul Lamar
Paul:
My 3-rotor Lancair ES is progressing slowly. My time is very limited as
I'm teaching most of the summer, so each project stretches out for
weeks. It must have taken almost a month to locate oil line fittings
for my new competition oil cooler (metric to JIC). I'm just finishing
installing a new battery box to move the two batteries farther aft to
offset the six pound heavier gearbox. Next scheduled project is new oil
cooler ducting and fiberglass mods on the cowl. Then, I'll add a
ventral fin to offset the destabilizing effect of moving the prop three
inches forward (the result of switching to Tracy's gearbox).
I can't rush it. When it's ready, it's ready.
Tom
Thanks Tom. I forgot about all those changes.
