It is VERY important to know what correction factors are being applied.
I would assume that the Mazdatrix data are corrected using the very old
method still favored in the automotive aftermarket community -- I think
the correction is to 60 degrees F and 0% relative humidity. The
correction factors that are more generally accepted by manufacturers (as
driven by the SAE) are far less generous -- 77 degree F and 30% or more
relative humidity if I recall correctly. The difference in reported hp
based on the two correction factors can vary quite significantly. I
don't know what correction factors Mazda uses for racing engine hp.
