After thinking about a criticism of the modification of the Renesis oil
pan to a wedge shape, I have changed the sump to better trap oil at
the pick up in extreme climbs and dives. Oil would drain from the
original tank into the wedge sump through a few openings drilled
through the bottom of the original tank. The largest hole would be for
the pick up tube which would terminate 1/2 inch above the wedge apex.
Again, the purpose of this is to add capacity to the stock sump and
have it shaped to not interfere with the rad intake plenum. A major
consideration is to conserve space under the engine so that the rad
will fit inside most stock cowls. Jerry
