Hello Paul

I don't want to bore you but I have a simple question.

What do you think is the practical lower weight limit of the 2 and 3 rotor
engines
after all weight savings possible are achieved? Weights to include Engine,
coolers,
radiators, Induction and exhaust, reduction units, hoses and oil, fluids.
And for turbo models.

thanks

Bill

Cast iron end housings 300 pounds firewall forward for the two rotor
and 375 pounds firewall forward  for the 3 rotor. Add 30 pounds for the
turbo. (Lose the weight of the mufflers.)

Any lighter with the aluminum ends or are they not recommended.

How close are you to flying your project ?

Thanks

bd

So far nobody has come up with an aluminum end housing that I feel
good about.

With this newsletter... developing p-port engines on the dyno and traveling
to Europe are you kidding? :)
