Are these the engines norton retained rights to for UAV purposes when they
flogged off the experimental aircraft engines to Midwest?
These things look suspiciously like the DOA Freedom Motors industrial 530 series.
They also have cooling issues if not run at a fixed speed. My understanding of the
Norton/Midwest engines is that Norton acquired the tooling of the Fichtel/Sachs
rotaries and went from there.

Yes On the Norton. I think so. One differnce is they use a cog belt reduction.
