Here is some additional information on the LS-1 coils that was recently
published on one of the other lists:
Here are the GM p/n's:
12558948 D-580 igniter (primary and secondary on same end)
12558693 D-581 igniter (primary and secondary on opposite ends,
connector different from D-580)
12563288 Bracket as used on Corvette to hold 4 D-580's (can someone
verify that the D-581's will fit?)
I like the D-581 better because it gets the primary wiring away from the
high tension wires.
Bob, it was stated on the other list that you are looking for a source
for the D-581 connectors. Have you found them?
You can't beat Bob's prices or the convenience!

The only thing I've found was Delco p/n PT1627 (GM p/n 88987184) which
is probably a pigtail connector for the D581 coil. I haven't even found
a picture of this p/n and have no way of confirming it is the correct
one. They cost more than the coil. Absolutely ridiculous.
