Hi Paul,

Vale 14v motor alternators are selling well in Citrons and now Hyundai
cars.

Puts out up to 2.5 kw  (about 180amps of power) in the alternator mode.

Honda has one in the works as well and from what I hear so does
Nipondenso.

Just bolt in place where the alternator is presently.  Air cooled
electronic controller.

Great! Its about time. I am getting tired waiting for GM to do it.

25 KWs! WOW! that is 1785 amps at 14 Volts. More than enough for
electric everything :) Of course it will also suck 40 HP out of
your engine if you are using all of the current.

What's a decimal place among friends??  2.5KW=178.5A*14V.. 4HP?  Maybe
your font doesn't show decimals very well..

Matt-

I don't see no stinking decimal point in the cartoon :)
Ah so here it is. You are right. Won't be as expensive as
I thought.
