     Very good John. I guess you don't live in California... I used to
     believe the tree hugger regulations there were really for the
     environment until they outlawed your completely renewable form of

energy

     on the road  :-)))) I had 3 sources available until my diesel left

with

     my ex-wife in the divorce.

I guess we're somewhat off topic Dave, but I'm sorry to hear you lost
your diesel when you gained your freedom, I guess you can't have

everything!

My wife won't let me use the good stuff in our diesel car, she's
embarrassed that kids in following vehicles will think they can smell
McDonalds!

I noticed an assertion that the oil will carbon up the engine, I see no
evidence of this , and believe this is unlikely as there is no black
particulate emission in the exhaust.
I notice that our legislators intend to tax "biodiesel" from 2011, it
will be interesting to see if they cast the net wide enough to cover
waste oil.

Meanwhile I'll keep using it in the Coaster.

John, I have a fuel selector and once my engine is warmed up, I switch to
straight oil and then switch back to diesel when I'm going to shut down to
avoid coking my injectors. Coking seems to be the main objection to running
straight oil but I've seen no hard evidence to support this-have you? Also,
I'm aware of the effect that propane injection has on diesel fuel, has
anyone tried this on veg oil? More HP and more complete burn while less
coking??? Your thoughts?
