I am new to group and my question is ,can I get 100-120 HP from a single
rotor B13 or B20 engine???

Would the mods be super extensive?

Well in theory you can but the weight will be quite high for 100 to 120
HP. In the ball park of 200 pounds. Richard Sohn is working on aluminum
end housings with iron wear surfaces but he may be a year or more away
from a viable engine.

You might say the mods are extensive. You will need a new e-shaft
and a special counter weight. To get 120 HP you will need to p-port
the rotor housing.

I thank you for your prompt response.

 The aircraft I want to put the engine in is a Taylor
Mini-IMP(http:\\www.mini-imp.com) has a weight limit of 200# ,HP limit of
120HP. It has provision for 0-200.
I have seen from 195# to 245# for this engine,so I assume there is some play
there.

 On the e-shaft,could I modify an oem part( I'm a machinist),or would it
be better
to start with a piece of bar stock?

 Where can I find out about this counter weight, a web address maybe??

 The same also for P-Porting.

 I don t know what Mr.Sohn is trying to get done, but a wear surface sounds
like a good thing, a web address maybe??

Lots of people have cut down their own e-shaft.

The trick is getting the right balance weights.
