I expect that they do not use the cheapest stuff they can find at
Holtz
(my dealer).  They are the local dealers for 8 top end brands (
www.johnholtz.com ) and have a complex here that stretches along
about a mile of West Henrietta Road. Including Porsche, Mercedes,
BMW, etc.

The Honda dealership is in a building all by itself, but the Mazda,
Porsche and Audi ...are all in the same building and use the same
service area. I've also seen an occasional Ferrari in there which I
have taken pictures of when I knew they were there.

In fact, I was trying to talk them into letting me have the Carrera GT
that was in their showroom for a loaner while my RX8 was being
repaired!
They said they would if I had left them a security deposit to cover
its selling price...$448,000!

Good thing I didn't, though...they had it sold by the time I returned
yesterday to pick up my car (Got a new Mazda3 5-door...surprising good
little car! Impressed me!).

So, I expect they use nothing but the best...hopefully on my car as
well!

Check with them the next time you get a chance and see if it is
at least Mobile One. I'll bet it aint :) It is very important
to run a synthetic in the rotary.

A dealership should not have a problem using materials you supply for
service on you vehicle.  If Idemitsu is what you want to use, bring 5
quarts in and say "use this oil".
