Paul,  Perry, Bill, Butch and others,

You guys are amazing.  What other secrets are you
hiding?  Muffler bearings
to smooth out the exhaust? So I suppose a three
blade hub would need to be
made out of  a billet. Say did I mention I have use
of a machine for mocking
up three dimensional parts?   Assume I will have the
guys in the shop make
this hub. For the prop I don't mind paying a pro to
make it.  I have more
than my fill working with composites:)   First I
would like to know the
results of the prop testing of in North Carolina?
Its been there a year now.

BTW the Warp drive blades arrived today, Sunday,
at noon.  Now I know why
shipping was so expensive. You sent it courier rate.
They have three rates
at Fed. Express for overseas delivery.  My fault
though, I should have
warned you. Freight rates, ie from Tracy cost $50
for the same volume and
approx. weight. but take 4 to 5 days to arrive.

A little epoxy ought to fix those blades up well
enough to use for testing.
The nice thing about carbon fiber is that even when
burnt they are already
carbonized:)

The roots are fine shape though.I am trying to think
of an easy hub that is
adjustable that I can weld together.

Thanks again for sending them.

Doug in Japan

Make the hub out of two aluminum 1/2 thick plates
with split block clamps
for the blades. Loosen the clamp bolts to adjust the
blade angle.
Spacers for the prop bolts. Crude but simple. Here
is a 3D

She gave me only two choices on the shipping. $181
or $171 for two days
later. I said what the heck it is only $10 more :)

No cheap choice at all. If she ripped me off I'll
report her
to Fed Ex.

Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.

Dont forget about eBay.
