Hallelujah to that. On second thought if there is a way I could get a
copy I may find someone at Honda to get a translation. I would like to
see it now that Ford is not in control.
There is an Executive VP at American Honda who was a serious Wankel
enthusist many years ago. He is still there.
Even if the translation is on paper it would be worth seeing. At the
opera this is the norm.

I'd love to get a copy of that too. I could get it translated in
Toronto.

George do you have this list of tech papers?

Well you have it now George. Just right click on the file
and "save as". Lots of technical history in there on what people
went through developing the Wankel as we know it.
You should be able to get most of them from a good University
technical library at 10 cents a page.
Here are a few that I would place a high prioriy on obtaining.
Mazda 4-Rotor Rotary Engine for the Le Mans 24-Hour Endurance Race.
(Mazda won the race outright beating all of the famous European race car
builders.) Ritsuharu Shimizu, Tomoo Tadokoro, Toru Nakanishi, and Junici
Funamoto Mazda Motor Corporation. SAE paper 920309. By far the best
technical paper on the Mazda Wankel type rotary engine. Lots of information
on how to make a powerful, normally aspirated, light weight all aluminum,
heavy duty rotary engine.
