A good find !
Did you notice that there is also a 5 planet straight cut planetary as

well,

this would eliminate the need for a thrust bearing at all.
Found it in the Slausons catalogue !
I notice they went from 22 degrees to later 15 degrees, the front and

rear

planetaries are very similar to the Ford's but have only the 5

planets.

   What are the advantages and disadvantages of strait cut verses
angle cut ??? it sure would make life simpler going with a strait cut.

No gear thrust. Stright cut are noiser. Angle cut are quieter.

   I think I will order up the strait cut gears, like I am worried
about noise, hell I will never be able to hear the gear noise over
the the scream of the rotary and the 6 blade prop.

Maybe I don't know much and maybe I'm stupid but I'm thinking noise does
matter.  Noise=vibration.  Vibration = wear.  Am I off here?
