I have just completed the fuselage for my bearhawk 4 place high wing
aircraft with 1300 lb useful load 2500lb gross.  I have determined that
I will use a 2nd gen 13b.  What is the best rebuild book I can buy that
would also give performance modifications and recommendations. For
example best method for porting. Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure there is a book out there that covers hopping up
Mazda rotaries.  There should be but I don't think there is.
However the people on here can help a lot with that.
Just ask plenty of questions. Really there is not much to it.
Mostly porting of one kind or another. For the most bang for
the buck go with a p-port. When you get ready to do that let me
know and I can send you lots of step by step pictures.

As far as rebuilding the Haynes series has several.

The Standard mazda FSm is the way to go for the general teardown/build
up..

I know that RWS sells a video series that has a limited amount of
upgrade possibilities in it for the rotary.. mostly, the info you want
will be on the rx7/rx8 fourms. or if your not brave enough to risk the
fourms and the 100's of assinine kids, then try the tech/how to sections
of mazdatrix/racing beat and FC3S.org's main page has a link to a whole
bunch of DIY upgrades.
