Geir,  I'd like to add that the main limitation on capacity is room
under the engine.  If you are putting the radiator under the engine,
with the intake plenum between the rad and pan, it is probably going
to get very tight inside the cowl.  I think the stock pans are 5
qts.  People who are flying with stock pans are reporting no problems
that I am aware of but like Paul says, the more the better.       Jerry

I recently put 4 quarts in my pan and it filled it to about 7/8 of the
way up from L to F on the dip stick.  I added another quart to the oil
cooler and filter.  After cranking the engine until I started seeing
oil pressure - about 20 seconds, The dip stick level was about 1/2.
