Well perhaps.
If you watch a pot of water boil you can see tiny air bubbles formed at the
bottom of the pot and rise to the surface. Where does the air come from to
form those
tiny bubbles on the bottom of the pot? :)

Ah-h-h-h; those aren't air bubbles, those are steam bubbles. And you'll
note that when it first starts, most don't make it to the surface. They
re-condense and collapse.
Or am I misunderstanding something here.
