Since your KIS has gullwing doors, same as the Lancair ES, I was
wondering if you know of a good source for inflatable door seals?
Lancair's are back-ordered, but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay what
they're asking for them without checking into other options first. I
was told they are 203.5" in length. Any ideas?

There is a guy hear in SZP that makes inflatable seals for
certified airplanes.

Are you referring to Bob Fields Aerocessories? There seems to be a
problem with those door seals. I'll contact Seal Master and see if they
can custom build one for the Lancair.

Yes. By now Bob Fields has it fixed. I am surprised he let it go
so far with the FAA. You can probably get a real deal on his seals
about now. the problem was with the motor over heating but that is really easy
to fix electronically or with a fuse. I'll walk over there today and see what he is doing.
