Talked with a friend regarding the HD alternator. He found out that it
is 6.5 OD, 2.25 ID hole, 1.5 thick. For the 40 amp version. He talked
tot he mfg who indicated for offroad applications they will not
warranty the product and so would be willing to sell at dealer cost.
~325 dollars.
