    Yes,  I did get the Mac version.  Files made on the Mac can be  opened
     > on Windows seamlessly. Exports to Auto Cad and in all the  important
     > file types such as IGES. When  you buy the program,  you  actually get
     > both the Windows and Mac version so if you use one computer  at work

 Burt Rutan has been a Mac fan since day one. If you watch the Space
Ship One specials when next shown you will see that all of the cad  files
he shows are on Macs. Burt has been a promoter of Ashlar Vellum for
years. I am interested, how much did you pay with the student  discount?

Graphite was around  $190.00 for the downloaded version (no paper  or disks).  Colbalt which is  high end modeling  retails for  $3995.00 The student version is only about 10 percent of that.     Jerry
