Morning, Paul...

First it's a very good video!  Short, concise but appears very accurate
in it's depiction of how a rotary works (with good cut-away animation)
... a couple of real good shots of an RX8 doing it's thing as well.

It appears to have been taken from Spike TV, and was presented by Car
and Driver.

It is in Macromedia flash format, designed for streaming use over the
internet in your browser, not normal viewing.

But, having said that, I took a look at the source code, and it has a
link to Macromedia to download the viewer for it...specific to run in
whatever browser you are using.

You can find the viewer for your system here:

www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

They have a version for Mozilla, Firefox, Linux, HP, Sun, etc....

Sounds like I already have it on the web site. My son captured it
for me and put it on the web site.
Please check this out and get back to me.

Car & Driver magazine movie (mpeg) on how the Wankel engine works. 32 meg. Requires a high speed Internet connection.

Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.

Yep, Paul...same one....

So any mpeg player will work if you donwload it to your hard disk.
correct? Perhaps the guy that uploaded it to www.yourtube got it from our
web site as we did some editing?

Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.

Yep, any computer should be able to read your version without any
problem.  The one at Yourtube appears to be edited a bit more than
yours, tho...it ends a bit quicker...immediately after the Red RX-8
turns the corner.  But, he (she?) could have done that, as well.
