Hi Paul,
A couple of quick questions:
1) Can ribbed tension bolts (1989+ version) be used on a 1986 13b?
2) Is dynamic balancing required when building an engine using rotors, front
and rear counterweights of the same year but not originating from the same
car?
Thanks,
JP
1) Yes but you still must put a spiral of red RTV silicone rubber
all around the tension bolts to keep them from resonating
and cracking due to fatigue.
2) Same year.... same type of engine (turbo or NA) it is OK.
Turbo rotors weigh differently than non turbo rotors.
Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.
