Hi Paul,
Do you (or anyone else out there!) know the teardown sequence for a 20B?
I have my teardown started but had to stop after the rear housing and
rotor housing came off. I assume now is the time to split that 2-piece
e-shaft but dont know the best method or the real sequence I should use.
If anyone has any helpful advice and also some way to get the shaft
apart, I would greatly appreciate the help. Also, if there are any
toleranceing differences versus the 2nd or 3rd-gen 13B's, that would be
great to know too. Thanks much.

-Thanks Paul. Since I last emailed you I have been able to complete the
teardown. I found some old threads from years back that detailed how
some of our readers had gotten the e-shaft apart. It really was
simple... a few good taps from a hammer at the right time and place did
the trick for my engine. The tolerance issue is still floating out there
but I have found from Mazdatrix that the rotor housing and side and end
housings are interchangeable. That implies tolerances should be same. I
dont have info on the intermediate housing. Sure would be nice to have a
manual on them though. I have heard the manuals are all written in Japanese.
