I get a headache just thinking about how to do

Actually its pretty easy, I did one.. and was
going to send the file to Paul but it was 1.9mb
and I didn't want to tie up his bandwidth..
There's actually several ways to do it, as
well..
you could make it in the proper form [ not a
linear expansion but rather a parabolic shape..
or is
that hyperbolic] either way... its very
doable..
I did a simple linear one in about 2-3
minutes..
mind you
I already had the prop model..

divergent "look" of which
a prop's airflow "goes".. at least thats the way

remember it's supposed to.

Yup.. I didn't have no use for it.. so figured I
might as well send it
to you. Then you can do what ya want w/ it. :-)
I just get a kick outa
pushing my limits w/ the program.. It's not every
day I get to
do a parabolic helix w/ a continuous spiral
following the helix :-)

I'll have to take a closer look at Rhino and see
if I can change the first and last radius of the helix.
Then you are in trouble :)
BTW that igs file, when converted to a Rhino file, was
39 meg :)

I think you will need to use Rhino's SPIRAL command.

around a helix around a spiral :)
