Car about how some dummie spent big bucks shoehorning a
300 ci LS1 V8 into a third gen RX7. No expense spared.
Surprise! The 159 ci rotary was .12 G quicker on the skid
pad (that's a lot) and 3.85 seconds quicker (that's a lot)
around a real tight road course. (Streets of Willow) The 80
to zero stopping distance was 35 feet shorter from 80 MPH. Duh!

What a way to ruin a great car.

BTW the magazine got the weight of the 3rd gen turbo 13B engine
at 425 pounds. Pure unadulterated BS. Bare weight is under 200 pounds.
Add 50 pounds at the outside for the dual turbo's and another 30
pounds for the flywheel and clutch.
