Use www.Tinyurl.com to shorten up your long URLs...very easy to use,
just highlight the URL you want to shorten in it's window while you are
still on the website and page you want to pass on in the browser, copy
(Edit/Copy or CTRL-C), then go to Tinyurl.com and paste it in the box.
Copy and paste (Ctrl-V or Edit/Paste) the short one it creates into your
email.

Harley: It is actually much easier; just add tiny url to your browser,
instructions are on their site, and then click the tiny url when on the
desired page. It is now automatically stored in your clipboard for pasting
in whatever program/wherever you desire to place it, at least for those
99.44 percent of us using windows. <g>. Sorry about that, Paul. But, it
should also work in penguin browsers. I just don't know. Some say tiny urls
might go away. All I know is they haven't in the years I have used them and
they sure make life easier.

First, Thanks, Jofarr!  I've never scrolled down the Tiny URL page far
enough to see that! <G>

Anyway, I just set it up in my Firefox...works fine, except it only
loads the clipboard in IE versions...but no problem, it launches the
Tiny URL website and converts the URL in Firefox ... saving several
steps.  The method I outlined above does sound more complicated than it
really is, though...but I like the way you mentioned better!
