What is the gear ratio between the old distributor shaft and e-shaft?  1:1?

Wondering if it is suitable for a spare alternator location.

I think it is one to one. No need for a half speed distributor
as the 2 rotor engine fires twice per rev. The problem might be the
shaft and gear will not transmit a lot of HP.
A 50 amp distributor is almost one HP input.
