Paul,   Is this 24 " the most current design for injector
location with respect to max> HP. and Torque.


It is such a small effect you could locate your injectors
almost anywhere along the runners. We have had reports
that this is the best place for BSFC but only slightly.
Say one or two percent. Tough to measure on anything
other than a good dyno.

BTW note that carbs inject the fuel near the ends of the
pipes as well. The close in injector location was
developed for excellent throttle response. Something
you don't really need all that much in an AC engine.

Also BTW don't forget the air box plenum as any tuned
intake system, including carbs, will have a stand off cloud
of fuel vapor out side the ends of the runners. You don't
want that floating around inside your cowl.
