I am considering building a Super Pulsar 100 and would like to install a
rotary engine.  Pulsar recommends the engine to be 100-125 hp.  Which
rotary engine and year would get me close to 125 hp after it was
converted to use in a aircraft.

I suspect a Mazda Rotary is too heavy for that airplane.
Unfortunately I don't know of any rotaries for sale today
that would be the right weight for that airplane.
There are some but they are out of production.
Now I could be wrong.

The single rotor P-port will give you 125hp but the trouble is you need a
single e- shaft and all the work done to date on Rotary aircraft engines, is
on the standard 2 rotor.
So getting it done easily is a little way off yet.

Unless you can come up with aluminum end housings it will still
be too heavy for a Pulsar.

Paul, what's the firewall forward limit for a Pulsar - I thought it
would be about 300lbs?

I have no idea but the original used a two stroke Rotax.
