I'm just curious if anyone out there has gotten ripped off by
Conversion Concepts. I know he has a reputatiuon for being late, but has
he just taken anyone's money and never delivered a mount? I am just
curious because I am getting a little worried about it. I ordered my
mount in May and was told four weeks, six on the outside, and my mount
would be done. I keep getting told "next week" over and over again,
usually due to health reasons. I was billed for my final payment (60% of
the total) and assumed that meant it was ready to ship. I paid and still
have nothing. That was a month ago. Any advice from other customers?

My mount took one year.  I paid for it all in advance.  There were lots
of excuses but it finaly came and the mount looks really nice.  NO,
never ripped off.  I just had to be patient.  He has had some health
problems and he may be over them now.  My mount was for a Cozy.  I
haven't needed it yet but I will have it mounted this winter.  Advice?
Be patient, if you can wait.  Some parts get sent out to be machined and
he has to do several at once to make it worth the cost.  I've had
similar problems with other suppliers.  My retract landing gear is a
similar situation but it's been a year and a half.

I'm sure both of these businesses would be larger and more successful if
they would deliver in a more timely mater.
