Did you do that by hand or is there some sort of magic stuff
you can get that makes aluminum look like this?

I used what I only can describe as a buffing rubber compound, They
are little pieces of rubber with different grits in them that you
attach to your dremel tool or a roto zipp, the bigger ones I used
in my roto zipp I got them at a machine shop supply store. The tan
ones are the x-tra fine which is the final polish. they come in all
shapes and sizes from very small to very big. the little ones
obviously allow you to get in the toughest of places. A word of
caution though, it still takes a long time to polish the housings
even with these rubber bits and there is still some hand polishing.
 If you know of a magic formula that I can just dip things in it and
it comes out polished let me know I'll buy 50 gals" of it.
