I see! well the bell housing I have is an 89 auto with an 89 flex
plate so it should work for me. I think I have a source for the
3rd gen bell housing but he wants $350 shipped so I'll keep
looking or see if i can get him down to 150 or 200 per housing.

That sounds like a new price. You might check with a dealer
or Mazdatrix on the new price.

Oh yeah!!!!

The dealer here wants $450.00 paid in full before they order it.
I'll just stick with my bell I guess. plus it's already polished
up nice and pretty waiting to be anodized.

The dealer gives up to a 40% discount to legit auto repair
shops. It is called three tier marketing. Dealer, wholesaler
and warehouse. Mazda USA is probably the warehouse.
