The DAR came to day and gave me that magic little pink paper that says
my project has a "Special Airworthiness Certificate" so it is officially
an airplane. First flight will still be a while as there is one
component that needs upgrading - the pilot (me) needs a tailwheel
endorsement.  I had an instructor lined up, but he lost the use of the
plane he was going to use to instruct me.  I now have another
instructor and will work on the tail dragger skills until my wife
insists on leaving for a visit to ND.

Thanks Paul.  I'm hoping to be qualified in the next few weeks if I can
get enough time with the instructor.  I do need a little more experience
with those landings.  Too bad I didn't become a real hairy chested
pilot back when I was 20. ;)
