It looks like you have the landing brake covered by the gear. I find
you
really need that landing brake to get slowed down on landing or you
use a
lot of runway.
I don't think you need a large air intake. The prop helps pull a lot
of air
through the cowling on my Long Ez. My setup has a NACA on the
belly and
one small intake on the top right cowling for my radiators. The oil
cooler
has a scoop on the lower left cowling. No cooling problems after
first 5
hours of flight testing.

Mike
that's great !
I don't think I'm going to be needing an airbrake. When I open the
gear doors and the gear come out, I thnk it's going to be pretty
dragy anyway it should slow me down.
Tony
I never use the airbrake. It gives a turbulent ride and it's all or nothing.
If I need to loose altitude I push out both rudders. I can control the
amount applied, it's a smooth ride, and I can remove it all just before
touch down to reduce the descent rate. If I build another EZ or Cozy I
won't even bother to install it.
