Sorry for being a grumpy naysayer.  By all means, build and demonstrate
the capability.

It's very simple, Paul says above 400mph or better. If you're going to build
one of these you aren't going to be worried about fuel efficiency or build
cost. Two p-port turbo 2 or 3 rotors driving a single shaft to a big fan in
the aft fuselage. Aluminum housings and no PRSU's to offset the twin weight.
Carbon fiber fuselage with tandem seating for two styled after an F-5 or
F-16. What a hoot eh ? Now that I have sorted it all out for you get it
built and don't forget to give me a ride.
