Doug left Camarillo  at noon in his C150 with severe head winds.
He is going to try to make it to Blyth tonight (with fuel stops) and
then in to Casa Grandi tomorrow morning. It is a white straight tail
Cessna 150 with a blue stripe.

I made it Jacki Cockran airport without a problem on fuel because I
wanted to see the Salton Sea.  I am now in Blythe which should probably
be spelled Blight.  I call it a day at 5 because I didn't feel
comfortable about flying over that inhospitable terrain at night.

This was Friday night. Has anybody seen him today?

I know we covered the auto fuel issue before but I can't remember what was
said about using auto fuel in a composite aircraft.  I was reading my LEZ
manual and found a warning from RAF about using auto fuel in composite
aircraft.  I'm in the finishing stages of my LEZ with a rotary engine and
would like to know what was finally decided about this subject?

I think the consensus is you have to stay away from auto fuel
with an alcohol content.

What say you Perry? Perry flies a Long EZ and uses auto fuel
when ever possible.
