Yes and it gives yahoo a lot of profile information on you so
yahoo can sell it to marketing outfits or use it themselves.
Why do they need to know your age, zip code and sex?  Smart
people enter BS anyway. It just becomes really irritating
to go through all the stupid steps.

Spam is no big deal. Imagine how much spam I get.
Much of it is filtered out by earthlink.
The rest is a delete click away from gone forever.
Are yahoo programmers too dumb to do that?
